Church Steeple Roofing
Ask any roofer in Minnesota about steeples and watch them take a slow breath. Steeple work concentrates every challenge our climate offers into one tall, narrow, beloved structure: extreme wind exposure, intricate geometry, historic materials, and a congregation watching from the parking lot.
Our crews have re-roofed steeples across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota for more than twenty years. The work starts long before anyone clips in: we document the existing structure, measure every facet, consult with the congregation or building committee, and engineer the staging and crane plan. Scaffolding on a steeple is a project in itself.
Material matters enormously at height. Lightweight stone-coated steel and standing seam panels reduce structural load while shedding wind-driven rain and ice that destroys conventional shingles. Custom-bent flashing transitions the tower to the nave roof, the detail where most steeple leaks are born. We fabricate these in-house to match each profile exactly.
The reward for all this care is a steeple that stands straight and dry through decades of blizzards, visible for miles, exactly as the founders intended. If your church's steeple is showing its age, we are happy to climb up, take a look, and give you an honest assessment.
